Not only that. Don't play your survivor characters when you're tired or in a bad mood.
My elementalist is still surviving with no death for 3 years (longest in my account). I always get my survivor titles the hard way (no scrolls also). So if she dies, I'd probably throw the monitor out lol. I know how you're feeling now...I've had a few died when I first went for that title.

I'm pretty sure that you would've been bored long time ago during survivor if you hadn't been drunk.

Eh, my survivor attempts (except the necro and the para, whom I've been ignoring) never really make it past lvl 12. Ranger got as far as 14, when I got cocky and double-aggroed some tengu in Jaya Bluffs. Sat there staring at the screen for like 15 minutes, just in shock.
And that's when I'm totally awake and aware.
So, rules for Survivordom:
- Don't play when you're drunk
- Don't play when you're tired
- Don't play when there're distractions
- Don't play when there's lag
- Don't play when there's the minutest chance of family aggro
- Don't answer the phone or the doorbell
- Don't play with anyone except a guildie who's helping you out (ie no PUGs, no inexperienced friends, no guildies who are notorious for bad judgement...)
Follow all those... and then your only challenge is not dying. Hahaha.

Be grateful. There are many, many worse things that could have happened. Of course, most of them could be avoided via offline status and not responding to chat.
The golden rule of "responsibly" drinking to excess: Think ahead of time and never put yourself in a situation where you could regret your actions later.
Cheap way to learn that lesson, IMO.

eh.. I am always playing while drinking :P
At least on the weekends anyway, makes it a load more fun to be chatting on vent, drinking and playing
Although I don't go for survivor... last time I did while drinking err... that avatar of balthazar took a disliking to me and my spirits and boom...

I get tipsy once in a awhile (beer or wine with dinner) and I'll log into GW and play, and let me tell you, RA while you're drunk or tipsy is a hoot. Sober it just frustrates the hell out of me, but drunk, yeah, no pain and it's actually funny and you get to laugh at the people who take it too seriously.

Just go buy Survivor to make yourself feel better, 180 Kath hammers should do it.

When I opened this thread I thought you merched a req 9 Obsidian Edge or something like that. Putting things into perspective, all you wasted was a bunch of hours.
